Basement Storage Room

  • This storage room had piles of bins and boxes that made finding things very hard.

  • We started by pulling out most of the boxes in the center and organizing them into categories.

  • Piles of boxes made it impossible to access items on the shelves on the back wall.

  • Five shelves were added, bins consolidated, and everything was put back organized by type.

Primary Bedroom and Bathroom

  • This client felt overwhelmed when things began to pile up and didn't know where to start.

  • After decluttering the closet, sorting and organizing the items on the chair and floor became much easier because they all had homes.

  • Shoe storage was not being used effectively.

  • The shoes were organized according to type and frequency of use.

  • The closet is typically the starting point for projects, because it is the foundation to organization.

  • Most clients appreciate having their clothes organized by color and type, and this one was no exception! It makes finding what you need so much easier.

  • The landing outside of the main bedroom was causing a lot of mental stress for this client.

  • We found a place for everything and organized the hall closet to store travel toiletries, medicine and other items.

  • The primary bathroom needed lots of decluttering.

  • We were able to find homes for all products leaving the counter space nice and clear.

  • This small bathroom closet is ideal for storing cleaning supplies and other less attractive items, but it wasn't being used to its full potential.

  • Labeling and putting smaller items in bins helped organized these shelves.

  • Now, items that are used everyday are easy to grab.

  • This counter cabinet has amazing storage potential.

  • Things used everyday that do not look as pretty on the counter were tucked away on these accessible shelves.

Attic Storage Room

  • This client loves having an entire room in her building's attic for storage, but things were getting a bit chaotic and hard to access.

  • We started with the totes on the floor. This client was ready to part with items she no longer uses, as well as lots of seasonal decor.

  • Items on the shelving were hard to access.

  • All totes are labeled and easy to grab. Adding a rug that would just be rolled up and stored adds a pop of color and coziness to this room.

  • We moved this small shelf to the back wall to consolidate the storage shelves.

  • Now, less used items are stored along this wall.

  • Items cluttered the entrance to the room.

  • Now, the entrance is open.

Bedroom Closet

  • This client was ready for a deep declutter in her closet.

  • We sorted and reorganized the closet section by section, arranging items by color and style.

  • Too much clutter on the shelves made it difficult to see and access items.

  • Now, all the purses are organized and extra hangers have a shelf.

  • Starting and finishing a decluttering project can be very hard and sometimes impossible by yourself, which is how this client was feeling.

  • Clothes were organized into dressers in this client's room, freeing up space on the closet shelves.

Sewing Room Refresh

  • Sewing is this client's passion and she loves sharing it with her children. Because of the clutter and lack of work space she was avoiding this room and not prioritizing creative time.

  • With a clear desk and no piles to get around, this client was so excited to start sewing again!

  • As items began to accumulate without designated places, this client became overwhelmed.

  • The closet was thoroughly cleaned, and storage shelves were effectively utilized.

  • Deciding what goes where can lead to decision paralysis resulting in underutilized storage.

  • The shelves are more full than before, but that's because they're filled with items from the floor. We also stored a less used machine on the shelving in the closet to free up space on the desk.

  • Sentimental items were taking over this side of the closet.

  • After sorting and decluttering, we were able to free up precious space in the closet and create room for future storage.

Garage Declutter and Storage Set-Up

  • Overwhelmed by disorganization and inability to access things easily were reasons this client wanted help.

  • With the floor clear and everything easy to access, this client was now happy to spend time in her garage.

  • The tool bench was buried making this area very challenging to use.

  • Eliminating two pieces from this wall allowed us to move the fridge over and back, which revealed the power tool charging station.

  • After sorting through and eliminating most of these boxes, the shelves were also able to be removed.

  • Now, there’s room to store the lawn mower and pressure washer right by the entrance.

  • Two underutilized storage cabinets were taking up precious space in this back corner.

  • Replacing the storage cabinets with open shelving created space to organize camping gear and off season clothing.

  • Floor clutter made it hard to move around and access items.

  • Organized shelves, tools and household equipment with room to work on projects.

Hampden Rental Kitchen

  • Minimal counter space and pantry storage were the challenges with this project.

  • After decluttering section by section, we freed up space for the items on the black shelf, allowing us to eliminate it, and move the orange cart in its place.

  • Too many individual storage pieces were causing visual clutter.

  • We decluttered the top shelf of the metal storage rack by consolidating like items and moving condiments to a higher shelf.

  • Items were hard to reach and use.

  • Now, everything has a place and is visible.

Bedroom Closet & Storage

  • This client wanted help sorting through clothes and organizing some areas in her bedroom.

  • We cleared the floor and reorganized everything to make finding things much easier. The small storage shelf hidden in the back of the closet is now visible and easily accessible.

  • This bookcase was cluttered with miscellaneous items.

  • Now, the top is simplified and shelves are organized.

  • Storage inside the nightstand.

  • Everything is visable and easy to grab before bed.

Storage Unit

  • This client was overwhelmed with the state of the storage unit for her non-profit. We were able to eliminate the middle storage rack opening up the space. Everything on the shelving was sorted, grouped together and labeled making grabbing items for events a breeze.

Breakfast Nook

  • This nook’s under bench storage areas and bright light were being taken for granted. We decluttered the space by organizing items where they could be intuitively found. This client was so happy to be able to sit and work at the table after our session.
